Not the greatest news to read on a Saturday but it seems that the title indeed is true. In a recent interview with Eurogamer, Guillame de Fondaumière claimed that the DLC for Heavy Rain (rumoured to allow you to play as the Origami Killer) is on indefinite hold as Sony want to invest more time and concentration on nuturing Move. It seems that after the Heavy Rain Move edition is released that Quantic Dream can then go on to look into the DLC. Eurogamer heard from de Fondaumière that: “Sony encouraged Quantic Dream to focus its efforts on the Move version of Heavy Rain instead of the DLC”. I think it’s time to get those hankies out lads as I feel tears coming on already.

You know, Here’s how I wamt it to go down. Drop the DLC and after the Move edition of Heavy Rain go back and do a sequel to The Nomad Soul, Quantic Dreams best game by far.
I seriously hope that they don’t just make Move games that are based around QTE segements. After The Nomad Soul they went from my favorite developer to now being a company I just keep my eye on now and again. Heavy Rain is by no means a bad game but from going from The Nomad Soul which is a free roaming, soul jumping, 3rd person adventure, first person shooter, beat em up to Heavy Rain which is a flimsy story held together by QTE segements.
JAAASSON!
C’mon, Quantic Dream!
