Speaking to Kotaku, Bungie’s Brian Jarrard explained that unlike the previous outings of Halo, Halo: Reach will adapt when more players are introduced into the game. The enemies will “toughen up” as a single player campaign turns co-op. In Reach, Jarrard said, “enemies will toughen if they face more players, exhibiting not just more damage resistance but getting smarter, more creatively using cover and generally being trickier foes”. Jarrard also confirmed to Kotaku about playing the Halo: Reach campaign as a female Spartan as Kotaku noted “You can play Reach as a woman, Players choose the gender for protagonist Noble 6 before they start the campaign. How’s that for a change of pace?” With Halo: Reach being the last Halo, tears will no doubt be shed!
