You’ve seen the trailer to Devils Third, the new game by Tomonobu Itagaki who brought us games such as Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive, and now the first official images of it are online. It’s looking fun, inventive and visually engaging and we wouldn’t expect anything different from Itagaki. Check these out!
Looks alright, the animations in the trailer look a bit off to me at times. A lot of blood and exploding limbs isn’t enough to sell me on the game. I really love Ninja Gaiden and the combat in it so hopefully some of that will be in here. It seems to mix up hand to hand and gun play, could be interesting but I’ll have to wait and see more. If it’s anything as smooth as NG then it should be good. It looks to have very over the top effects wise so potential comedy there. Definitely one I’ll keep an eye on. based on the shots I guess it’s gonna be set somewhere apocalyptic. Visually doesn’t look anything special much like Team Ninjas efforts so far this gen. But will need to see more on it.
