Earlier today, Edge published a rumour from a trusted source that Gears of War 3 would be getting released on April 8th 2011. Not only that but Gears fans could expect a debut teaser trailer on April 8th of next month. However, according to Epic Games’ Mark Rein, this information is more than a little wrong.
VG247 asked Rein to comment on the Edge rumour and he has, saying:
“You’re kidding, right?”
So there you go, another rumour busted. Gears fans will just have to wait til E3 where we might actually get some real information on the expected Gears sequel.
