Ubisoft has confirmed that Splinter Cell: Conviction won’t make its intended February 2010 release and will now be pushed back to April.
The news comes from today’s sales targets press release. It doesn’t exactly go into the details as to why this delay has occurred but whatever the reason; it’s of little solace to all the Splinter Cell fans that have been waiting a long time for this game.
Maybe this is a blessing in disguise. TGL can’t remember the last time the first quarter of any year contained so many must own titles. We will post the new revised release date when we get it.
