Now, this is interesting. A video surfaced on Gossip Gamers a few days ago which apparently shows Half Life 2 being played using Microsoft’s Project Natal. Now, we were initially skeptical when we saw this video a few days ago and choose not to post it because we weren’t convinced. However, this video, whether it’s fantastically fake or somehow actually real, has really got everyone out there talking over the last few days. So here is the leaked video in question. It apparently shows Gordon Freeman walking about, looking around and interacting with the environment in Dr Kleiner’s lab: all controlled by moving hands and waving arms. As with all juicy rumours, Microsoft are refusing to comment. What do you think?

Interesting if it’s real, as it shows an FPS can actually work with Natal (didn’t Epic say they weren’t planning on anything for Natal for that reason?). Though my arms would get tired after a few hours :/ It’d be really cool if they got the Natal working properly as it should be, so you can naturally talk to characters in games (especially games like Oblivion and Fallout 3) etc, but who am I kidding? All it’s going to do is open the door for all the gimicky Wii shovelware, take over sales for the 360 and ruin it for everyone… Some say I’m cynical…
