If you didn’t already know, we here at TGL are incredibly psyched for Final Fantasy XIII. The lucky Japanese get the game December 17th and as you imagine Sony and Square-Enix are beginning their media assault for a game that’s literally going to shift millions of copies either way. Here’s the first Japanese TV commercial. It’s short and sweet but enough to want us to just get over ourselves, buy the game on import, play it and thank the lord for its almost certain and inevitable perfection. It feels weird that I’ve little or no interest in a Final Fantasy game. It doesn’t feel like an event or something that grabs me by the throat for attention like it should.
