We here at TGL are huge fans of both Mario and the recent incarnations like Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Bros on the Ds and with the news of New Super Mario Bros on the Wii, we are spoilt for choice! Many critics have been bashing it online as a “holiday re-hash” but if you look a bit deeper it seems to have more of a gameplay value. For instance:
The game supports 3 player: One player can play as Mario and the other two players can chhose between Luigi, a Blue Toad and a Yellow Toad. This is NOT online play, simply network play but this adds a lovely otherwise lacking feature.
Each level has more hidden paths, coins and other collectables for you to find!
Rumours have it that the game witll feature “Toad” rescuing missions, although information is sketchy at best about this currently.
The game is set for release on the 20th November. If there was a game to have at Christmas, for the kids or yourself…then this is it!
